A model release is an agreement between a model that appears in a photo
and the photographer, granting the photographer the right to license,
sell and use the photos, under certain restrictions. Minor release serves
the same purpose but is signed by the legal guardian or parent of a minor
model.

2. Who needs a model release?
It is the buyer's decision whether a model release
is required. Fotegrafik classifies images of recognizable
people with no release under the Editorial classification, and images
with releases under the Commercial classification, but the decision on
the final usage depends on your requirement and legal requirements in
your business and country.
Fotegrafik collects model releases from its contributors
and specifies whether such a document exists in each photo information
page. However, we do not guarantee the authenticity of the release, nor
do we verify the information in the release.
